Galentine's Day was created by fictional shero Leslie Knope, the main character of the T.V. show Parks and Recreation. Even though Parks and Rec was a show aimed more at adults than kiddos (bt-dubs you can totally binge it online), there's nothing stopping us from sharing the love with our favorite girl gang! What exactly does it mean to have courage? We talk about it fairly often, but sometimes it's nice to have a gentle reminder of what it means to be courageous. Books, songs, and movies can be great ways to help teach courage and encourage girls to apply their own skills. We've come up with a list of some of our favorite things to teach courage.
