Meet Bailey, the 6-year-old from Detroit, Michigan that decided that Chapstick wasn't cutting it and that the world needs a new type of lip balm. After perfecting her signature lip balm, Bailey is currently working on expanding her company to create nail polish, fanny packs, and more. Read on for our interview with her.

Singing, dancing, and going to Target with my Mom. I take Hip-Hop dance classes and also enjoy acting.

HOW DID YOU COME UP WITH YOUR IDEA?
My mommy did when I was little. I said “I wish I had my own chap stick,” so we decided to make our own.
WHAT DO YOU STILL NEED HELP WITH FOR YOUR IDEA? HOW CAN WE SUPPORT YOU?
Any help with marketing and branding would be greatly appreciated. We also love any support we can get.
WHAT CHALLENGES HAVE YOU FACED SO FAR AND HOW HAVE YOU OVERCOME THEM?
We started out making the lip balm in our kitchen in the beginning. After one year of trying to get the consistency and flavor right, we invested in a chemist and private labeler.
WHAT ARE SOME GOOD THINGS THAT HAVE HAPPENED SINCE YOU STARTED YOUR IDEA?
I have met a lot of new friends.
